In 2024, DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut LP, “YOU’RE A WOMAN, I’M A MACHINE” — a genre bending iconoclastic cult classic that sounds as fresh today as it did in 2004.
Dubbed “dance-punk” by the gorfed-out UK press, Death From Above’s music doesn’t suggest, it commands those who hear it onto an under-lit Saturday-Night-Fevered dance floor.
To celebrate two decades of YAWIAM, the band are playing furiously around the world all while endeavoring on a year-long recording project to re-invigorate and honour their iconic flagship album.
